I have an export from a previous build of my website and the export is showing my page names as squares. My personal page names are what I'd expect to see, but on the other pages the page names are showing as squares. I have checked to make sure that my columns are set to display as characters and I have saved the export as HTML. Can anyone help me resolve this issue?

Solved this by changing the column type from hidden to text. Then I was able to rename the hidden column names as needed. Thanks for the comments provided in regards to this issue.

Redshift is not a full PostgreSQL system. It is a (very) restricted and simple version of it.
As for your problem, you can't create a table with a custom data type. PostgreSQL is less strict than Redshift is. The fields can have any type you like. It is up to you to specify the structure of the data at creation time.
There is an extension called Redshift Foreign Data Wrapper that can transform data between PostgreSQL and Redshift. You can install the extension and create a C function that would get your data in the format Amazon would expect. Then you can use that function to import your data.
